How To Buy Cheap Garden Furniture

April 30, 2011 By: Owen Jones Category: Uncategorized

If you like being in your garden and want a set of garden furniture in order to take advantage of the lovely summer weather, it can be rather depressing when you go out to look at the prices of garden furniture, particularly if you are on a budget. And who is not on a budget these days? However, there is a way to buy cheap garden furniture and still end up with something that you can be proud of.

I would like you to be very wary of lies. I have just finished reading an advert offering an ‘authentic teak (garden furniture) set’ that normally sells for about $4,500 for $29.97! Anyone that believes this sort of rubbish is a sad case indeed. Later on in the advert, they admit that the wood is not teak, but is ‘constructed of hardwoods comparable to teak’.

In fact, I would not believe that either. The writer has already told one lie and so is of course unscrupulous. If ever you find a hole in someone’s advertising you should look elsewhere, particularly on the Internet and especially if the shop is not in your town so that you cannot go and visit it.

Unfortunately, there are lots of liars on the Internet and they are giving the honest merchants a bad reputation. Many of them live in poor countries that have little or no Internet or business regulation. Places like Eastern Europe, China, Africa, South America and South-Eastern Asia.

If the standard of English in the advertisement is poor, go elsewhere. It is a shame for the honest person who does not speak English well, but far safer for you. Another check would be to send the owner an email.

If they do not respond, give them a wide birth. If they do respond, check their Internet Provider’s (IP) address. The IP address is a group of four numbers and the first group gives the country of origin of the email.

Be very careful of offers that seem to be too good to be true. Rich people purchase teak patio furniture at $4,500. Why do they pay that much? Because the best teak furniture costs that much. How can rich people afford that much? Because they have good jobs. How do they get good jobs? Because they are not stupid. If you could buy genuine teak furniture for $29.97, they would have it as well.

So, if you can only afford to buy cheap garden furniture, buy the best quality plastic furniture that you can find and do not get sucked in by these conmen that are trying to con you that you can have a top of the market hardwood garden furniture set for $30. You cannot; and never will be able to; and probably never have been able to either.

Chronic Headaches

April 30, 2011 By: Owen Jones Category: Uncategorized

Most individuals who only get headaches very infrequently maybe do not comprehend that there are different types of headache. Different kinds of headaches have an effect on different parts of the head and even headaches that have an effect on the same region last different lengths of time. The ones that last the longest, giving almost continuous pain, are known as chronic headaches.

Chronic headaches can be like episodic migraine – a throbbing in the temples – but unlike episodic migraine, chronic headaches can go on for days, weeks, months and even years. One of the causes of chronic headaches is stress.

One of the features of these headaches is that the stress can escalate in a vicious circle. That is, stress brings on the headache, then you worry about the headache which causes more stress, which causes more pain and so on. This is a very tough cycle of events for some people to break out of.

You can even bring on a stress-related chronic headache by worrying that you may get a headache. It is very depressing, because it seems that you only cannot win.

Sufferers of chronic headaches have a miserable time of it and normally make life miserable for everybody near them too. Therefore, if you are in continuous pain, do something about it.

The first thing to attempt is to discover the reason for your stress or concern. Something is starting your headaches and you probably know what it is.

You have to examine your life and find out what is so upsetting in it. Is it your partner, your career, your neighbours or your kids? Is it an illness of yours or a close friend or member of the family? Money and debts? It could be a blend of several factors, in which case, you will have to de-stress them one by one.

This is the only sure method of dealing with chronic headaches that are caused by stress. You can take tablets to kill the pain and tablets to put you to sleep and tablets to calm you down, but in the long term, you know that they are not actually helping and that knowledge will stress you out even more.

Other kinds of chronic headaches are chronic cluster headaches and chronic tension headaches. Episodic cluster headaches will occur each now and again, but chronic cluster headaches happen several times a day for years. Somewhere between 10% an 15% of sufferers from cluster headaches get chronic symptoms.

There are several names for chronic cluster headaches depending on the severity of the pain.

An episodic tension headache is the most common kind of headache. Everyone gets them from time to time, but a chronic tension headache is when you get periods of pain lasting for at least 15 days in a three month period.

If you suffer from chronic headaches, do not merely take medication or do not merely sit it out. You need professional advice once you suspect that you have a problem. You could strive to tackle it alone by taking up a sport or yoga to reduce your stress and tension, but it really is better for you to tackle the difficulty of chronic headaches with the support of a professional.
